We will be covering our upcoming plans for summer camp @ BSA Camp Daniel Boone and

Essay contest is for students in the 6th, 7th, & 8th grades. At the post level we will judge for the best then send that one on for entry into a national contest. At the post level we will award $100 for the best. At the national level the awards range from $500 to $5000.

Our troop quartermaster, Tanner Gowing, is looking for troop-owned missing tents and tent parts. The AlpsMountaineering tents the troop owns are brown in color and should be packed in brown nylon bags. Here is a list of the parts for each tent. You may or may not find all the pieces to a tent, but please look in your garage, under your son's bed, closets, etc. as we are missing 6 sets of tents.

Only scouts scheduled for a Board of Review need to attend.

Mrs. Stewart will be conducting series of Cooking Merit Badge workshops every Wednesday through the month of September. The workshop is open to all Scouts, but space is limited to the first five (5) scouts to register.
